It's a boy!!!!
Aiden Robert Grant has made his grand entrance into the world. 5lbs 8oz, 19.86 inches. Born at 10:34am. His left lung is not functioning at all. His right lung has a hole in it. His is on ECMO right now. They will try to take him off in about 10 days. If they can't he will have his surgery while on it. He is in a medical coma because with him moving around his SATS were dropping. He coded yesterday during a chest x ray from him moving too much. Today josh went and saw him and he is stable and doing ok. Please continue praying for our little boy!!!

ReplyDeleteMy name is Sarah Clutter. I work with your sister in law Jessica. I have a 4 month old boy, Reed, who was placed in the NICU after a C-section. If there is one piece of advice I could give you I would say to let people help you. Let them feed you, house you, sit with Aiden while you shower, eat, etc. It is so hard to leave the side of your sweet baby but Aiden will feed off of your strength. I am praying for your entire family, the doctors and nurses, and that sweet little boy of yours. The power of prayer is amazing. There are so many prayer lists I have Aiden on. They reach all the way around the country, as well as Australia...and maybe even more! My prayer for you, as one mother to another, is that God will grant you peace of mind sooner than later, that God will give you and your husband a clear mind to make the best decisions for Aiden, and that God will bless you with a strong and healthy boy to raise and enjoy the rest of your lives.
