In the next few days
Either Thursday or Friday will be the very last attempt to get aiden off ECMO. More then ever before Aiden needs your prayers. We are not ready to say goodbye to him. He has come so far and he has been such a fighter but we are scared to death of losing our one and only baby boy. This journey has been by far the hardest thing we have ever gone through and we are so thankful to have everyone's support. Please pray that the doctors are guided in the right direction and he is able to come off. That his heart is strong and that he can overcome his pulmonary hypertension. That his kidneys start working and that his blood gases and vitals are right where they need to be. Thank you all for your support!!!

I will be praying that your son is able to succeed and get off ECMO. I had my little Aiden on July 28th 2011 and sadly he too was not able to come off ECMO due to PH 26 days later. I am hoping that my Aiden is sending your Aiden lots of strength and good oxygenation chants so that he can come off. Sending lots of strength and prayers for your family.

Your sister-in-law, Renee, was kind enough to direct me to your blog so I could read about little Aiden's valiant fight for life. What a strong boy he is and how blessed he is to have you both as his parents. I have been praying for Aiden since the day I read about him and I am believing for his health and for his future. I pray that God's peace and comfort will be with you today and that He will give wisdom and guidance to the medical staff that is taking care of Aiden.
ReplyDeleteI looked up the definition of "Aiden" and saw that it means, "Little Fire". How appropriate for such a courageous and strong boy!!
All of the best in every way to you and your family,
Suzie Tuley
I wish little Aiden the soonest recovery, I send his way good thoughts and much love.
